Seeley
Adoption
Seeley had learned from her mother to look for unsecured human food in rural neighborhoods, which is something bears remember for the rest of their lives. For the safety of all, she and her sister Condi, were removed from the wild in the fall of 2019 and relocated to the GWDC. She has consistently proven that she is very determined when it comes to food, especially while testing containers to see if they qualify as "bear-resistant". Seeley and Condi came from the Seeley-Swan Valley in northwestern Montana.
