Adoption

Bo gained access to unsecured attractants and made repeated visits to Rainbow Point Campground near West Yellowstone, Montana in the summer of 2020, when he was about four years old. His level of comfort around people caused wildlife managers to remove him from the wild for the safety of everyone in the area, and he was relocated permanently to the GWDC. This young, fun-loving male enjoys rolling in the snow, splashing in the pond and wrestling with other bears.
